Powering India's Utility-Scale Battery Energy Storage Revolution
QQ Engineering & Consulting (QQEC) continues to strengthen its position as a trusted Engineering partner for utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across India.
QQEC was previously awarded Owner’s Engineering services for SPRNG Energy’s 528 MWh BESS project in Rajasthan and Detail Engineering services for KP Group’s 445 MW/890 MWh BESS project. Building on this track record, QQEC has now been awarded Detail Engineering services for a 150 MW/300 MWh Standalone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) by Advait Greenergy Private Limited.
These project awards from leading renewable energy developers show the industry’s growing confidence in QQEC’s ability to deliver strong, bankable and construction-ready engineering solutions for large energy storage projects. This expanding portfolio highlights QQEC’s capability to support developers across various projects from independent engineering to detail engineering, while upholding high standards in technical excellence and project execution.
Detailed Engineering for 33kV Transmission Line
QQ Engineering & Consulting (QQEC) was appointed to deliver detailed engineering services for a 33kV and 415 V transmission line project.This project demonstrates QQEC’s capability in delivering reliable, specification-driven detailed engineering services for transmission line projects, with a strong focus on accuracy, coordination, and technical quality.
The engagement included technical consulting such as conductor sizing calculation, sag tension calculation, plan and profile, pole GA drawing, Pole structure design calculation, pole foundation design calculation, pole foundation drawing, and support for Vendor Documentation Review, Material specifications, Technical discussions with vendors, technical verification and provided manufacturing clearance to ensure alignment with project specifications and execution requirements.
200 MW (AC) Solar Park – Khavda, Gujarat
Detail Engineering – Ongoing
Khavda is a key location for the development of clean energy in India. QQEC’s team is excited to participate in this initiative. We are proud to work on challenging environmental and site conditions including corrosion and complex soil property.

- Detailed engineering for the Solar PV Plant
- Procurement-related technical support
- Power system studies.
- Civil engineering support for the solar park layout and design.
This task represents another achievement in the expansion of our collaboration with KP Group and strengthens our role in the large-scale development of the solar projects.
100 MW (AC) Solar PV Plant – Amravati, Maharashtra
Solar PV Plant, 220 kV PSS & GSS – Detail Engineering
This project requires high-voltage systems to be integrated into the whole engineering of the plant.
Scope of Services:
- Detailed engineering for the Solar PV Plant.
- 33/220 kV pooling substation engineering.
- Review engineering for the 220 kV transmission line.
- Review engineering for 220 kV bay extension.
- Power system studies.
The team provides continuous technical support throughout the project, requiring accurate alignment of various voltage levels and system interfaces.
50 MW (AC) Solar PV Plant – Vilayat, Gujarat
Detail Engineering
This project builds on our involvement with KPI and helps create the groundwork for future assignments.
Scope of Services
- Detailed engineering for the Solar PV Plant
- System studies including load flow, short-circuit, reactive power analysis, and relay coordination
The project demonstrated our ability to manage medium-sized facilities with integrated transmission requirements.
